The former chairman of the Milli Mejlis commission on science and education, professor Shahlar Askerov will not take part in by-elections on 13 May 2006, Shahlar Askerov told Trend.
Askerov ran up for the 6 November 2005 parliamentary elections from the Terter constituency в"-95.
Askerov said, despite the proposals which came from some constituencies in regard to his involvement in by-elections he refused. В"A person cannot be engaged permanently in one and the same work, Askerov said.
