A meeting of the national coordinator of GUAM, regional organization among Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, and Moldova, will start in Baku on Tuesday, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told Trend.
The event to bring together the Deputy Foreign Ministers of member-countries will discuss some issues on expansion of interaction within GUAM. They will in particular focus on development of documents enabling GUAM to receive a status of international organization, regional energy security, development of transport corridors, and organization of next Summit of GUAM in Ukraine. One of the items of the agenda was the development of a joint position on resolution conflicts.
The deputy foreign minister, Araz Azimov, will represent Azerbaijan in the gathering.
The meeting is of working character and will be held behind the closed doors, the Ministry said.
