Azerbaijan favors Poland's experience and support in membership at WTO Deputy FM

Azerbaijan attaches great importance to experience and support of Poland in the issue on entrance to the World Trade Organization (WTO), the Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister, Mahmud Mammadguliyev, said in a meeting with the Polish Economy Minister Peter Wazniak, Trend reports.

Selecting a way of integration to the European and Euro-Atlantic bodies, Azerbaijan joined to the European Unions New Neighborhood and in this frames carries out large dialogue around the action plan on cooperation, Mammadguliyev underlined. There are broad economic, legal, geographic terms for entrance to the WTO and Azerbaijan attaches great importance to the experience and support of Poland in the process of integration in the European bodies.

Mammadguliyev also reminded of great potential for mutual relationships and voiced his confidence that the embassies of the two countries will intensify work on further development of relationships.

In his turn Wazniak said that Poland attaches great importance to the Caspian region rich with energy resources, and in particular, Azerbaijan. The Minister underlined the necessity for rapid resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict on Nagorno-Karabakh.

The meeting centered on exchange of opinions of different issues of mutual interests.
