The issue on the Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Guls participation in a meeting of Foreign Ministers of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) is still open, the Turkish Foreign Ministry told Trend.
The FM has definite problems with his health and doctors have banned him temporarily to make flights. However, it does not mean that Ankara will not be represented in the gathering, the same source said.
Preparations for a meeting continue and Gul will arrive in Baku if his health condition allows. In contrary another delegate will represent Turkey in the event, the same source said.
A meeting of the Foreign Ministers will be held on the eve of a suit of the heads of states and governments of the ECO member-countries due in Azerbaijan on 4-5 May.
The Turkish minister has recently undergone a surgery on his year and the doctors banned his to carry out long-distance flights.
