We do not call in question the use of autonomic energy in peace purposes in cooperation with the International Autonomic Power Agency (IAPA).and the UN, the Yemeni Foreign Minister, Bakir Al Girbi, stated to the opening ceremony of the 33rd session of the foreign ministers of the OIC member-countries that opened in Baku on 19 June, Trend reports.
We support the position on non-proliferation of mass destruction arms in the Near East region, he said. However, Israel should also sign an agreement on non-proliferation of mass destruction arms, the FM stressed. He called on the Near East countries and its neighbors set up a joint center on use of autonomic energy in close cooperation with the IAPA. All countries should be able to finance and use this center only in peace purposes.
The establishment of such center will enable to resolve the problems existing in the region, Yemeni FM emphasized.
