The members of the youth movement Dalga on July 10 tried to hold a protest action in front of the building of the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan. The forces of the law-enforcement bodies prevented the action, Trend reports.
The police didnt allow youths to come together in front of the building of the ministry and moved the away from the territory. The participants of the action fulfilled the requirement of police. However, the police prevented their next effort to assemble in front of the building. Under the accompaniment of the police, they were removed from the ministry.
The chairman of the youth movement Dalga Ramin Hajili noted that their action is considered to be held. According to Hajili, the deputy education minister Ilham Pirvaliyev should receive the members of the organization. But during the action, they couldnt contact them.
Hajili stressed that the pickets will continue and the next one will be conducted in front of the State Commission for Student Admission.
The youth organization and the students completing the study for bachelor degree require to restore their rights for entrance to the magistracy. Hajili noted that several students who havent passed the exam for the magistracy have been called for army. According to Hajili, the violation of their rights has caused by the emptiness in the law.
