The number of persons whose candidature for municipal elections were confirmed has reached 2594, Trend reports quoting Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan (CEC). 2502 out of them have received the list of signature. The number of persons submitting the list of signature is 1057.
The candidatures of 678 persons have already been registered. 343 out of the candidatures arent members of any parties, 317 nominated from New Azerbaijan Party, 4 Azerbaijan Popular Front Party, 3 Social Welfare Party, 3 Civil Unity Party, 2 Azerbaijan National Independence Party, and 1 other parties.
The repeat, additional and new municipal elections will be held on October 6 in 604 municipalities.
