According to the information spread by the General Relations Department of the Organization for Culture and Handicraft of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Poet Muhammad Shahriyar, an international conference is to be held in Teheran on September 16, 2006.
According to Trend Special Correspondent to Teheran, Iran`s parliament Speaker and the Head of Organization for Culture and Handicraft of the Islamic republic are expected to deliver their speeches during the first day of the work of the conference. Then messages from the leadership of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, and Russia will be read.
The Culture Ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, and other officials are expected to take part at the conference.
The arrangement is expected to last in Tabriz on September 18. During the Tabriz`s arrangement, a message from Iran`s President Makhmoud Ahmadinedjad will be read.
Arif Babayev, prominent Azerbaijani khanende (a performer of mugam) is expected to sing at the place where the famous Azerbaijani poet was buried.
