The Action Plan initiated by the New Neighborhood Policy of European Union with Azerbaijan is made ready to be signed, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammadguliyev told Trend.
According to him, the issue will be discussed during the upcoming meeting with the Finland Ambassador to Azerbaijan Terhi Hakalan, who will arrive in Azerbaijan on September 20. This year Finland chairs the organization. In the future, the discussions will continue within the visit of EU Trio to Azerbaijan, Mammadguliyev emphasized. The Plan may be signed during their visit, he added.
In addition, the Deputy Minister spelled out that Azerbaijan is ready to discuss the issue of signing other documents similar with the Memorandum regarding bilateral energy co-operation regarding co-operation in the spheres of education, health, etc.
