A sitting of the Subcommittee on Cultural Heritage of the Committee for Culture, Science, and Education of PACE (Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe) is expected to launch its work in Paris on December 7. During the meeting, issues connected with the cultural heritage of South Caucasian countries, Greece, Romania, Turkey, and Kosovo are expected to be discussed, Trend reports referring to the Council of Europe.
Edward O'Hara, a Rapporteur from Great Britain is expected to make a report on the situation over South Caucasus, Greece, Romania, and Turkey. Azerbaijan will be represented by Rafael Husseynov, a member of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE.
The next meeting of the Subcommittee is scheduled for January 22-26, 2007.
