The Chairman of Citizen and Development Party of Azerbaijan (CDP), Ali Aliyev, informed Trend that the party will appeal to the international organizations and court due to the issue that the party cannot enter into State registration.
He stated that the letter to the international organizations is already prepared. We will send this letter not only on behalf of our party, but also on behalf of our allies in the Azadlyg Block. We will discuss this topic at the next session of the Council of Chairmen, Aliyev said. According to him, preparations for the court appeal are also completed. The necessary documents have been collected and soon we will appeal to the court, Aliyev said.
The opposition Citizen and Development Party was created in 2006 by a group of persons who resigned from the Azerbaijan National Independence Party.
