Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend K.Zarbaliyeva / On 16 March the Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, General-Colonel Kamaladdin Heydarov, received the delegation headed by the NATO Special Representative of the Secretary General for South Caucasus and Middle Asia, Robert Simmons. The Minister said that Azerbaijan is one of the most reliable partners of NATO. He stressed that NATO attaches great importance to the geopolitical and strategic position of Azerbaijan in South Caucasus. Heydarov informed Simmons of the activities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Simmons said that the visit of the delegation will foster the development of the relations between Azerbaijan and NATO.
