Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend I.Alizade / On 5 April the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, attended a farewell ceremony for the popular poet of Azerbaijan, Habil. The ceremony took place between 12:00 to 15:00 at the State Song Theatre.
Other attendants included Azerbaijan Prime Minister, Artur Rasizade, Chairman of Parliament, Oktay Asadov, Head of the Presidential Administration, Ramiz Mehdiyev, other national popular poets and writers, scientists, and representatives of the community. The popular poet of Azerbaijan, Habil was buried in the Avenue of Honorable Burial. The poet died on 3 April of this year at the age of 81 due to heart failure.
