Russia, Moscow / corr. Trend R.Agayev / The Interior Minister of Azerbaijan, Ramil Usubov, said at the press-conference in Moscow that the Interior Ministry of Azerbaijan pays a special attention and mobilizes its efforts to fight against international narcotism.
According to the Minister, it is not secret that presently Afghanistan tops the countries producing narcotics. In addition, there are two most popular routes - from Middle Asia, Russia to Europe and from Afghanistan-Iran-Azerbaijan to Russia-Europe.
"We detain tens of such citizens and groups by co-operating with the Ministry of National Security of Azerbaijan. Mainly they are citizens of Azerbaijan and Iran. Therefore, we have establish close relations with our Iranian colleagues," Usubov said.
