Azerbaijan, Baku, 21 January /corr. Trend Z.Safarov / The Football Club 'Khazar' gained a place in the quarter-final of the Cup of Commonwealth which took place in Saint-Petersburg.
In the second match of the group stage, the Club gained victory over Tajikistan's 'Regar-Tadaz' with a score of 2:1. The team missed a goal in already opening of the match, but in the second time, the recruit of the team, Nadir Nabiyev, re-gained advantage. Within ten minutes, he ensured victory, brining three points to 'Khazar'.
Thus, prior to the concluding turn, Azerbaijan's champion passes ahead of 'Kaunas' and Kazakhstan's 'Aktobe' by three points while 'Regar-Tadaz' encloses the tournament table.
