Azerbaijan, Baku, 18 April / Trend corr K. Zarbaliyeva/ "Life-term prisoner Haji Mammadov, former senior criminal investigation officer of the Interior Ministry, is writing a book about his life," Elchin Behbudov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Anti-Torture Committee, said to Trend on 18 April.
Behbudov said that he met with Haji Mammadov, Farhad Aliyev- former Economic Development Minister, and Emil Suleymanov, former head of Public Security Service of AZAL, who are kept at the Investigation Cell of the Interior Ministry.
Behbudov said that Mammadov would complete the book by the end of this year.
None of the three prisoners complained about the maintenance conditions or their treatment at the Investigation Cell.
Aliyev expressed his wish to get acquainted with the results of the medical check-up that he has passed at the Medical Establishment, as well as to meet his brother - former President of Azpetrol group of companies Rafig Aliyev. Ex-minister said that condition of his health was normal.
Behbudov said that he informed the administration of the Cell of their requests.
Mammadov was found guilty of countless crimes, kidnappings and was sentenced to life imprisonment.
Aliyev was found guilty of corruption and was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment.
Suleymanov was found guilty of betrayal of fatherland. The investigation on him is still underway.
