The A/H1N1 virus killed 40 people and the number of the swine flu victims reached 140 in Iran, Member of the Iranian National Committee on Infection Deceases Masoud Mardani reported.
The number of swine flu cases has risen from 3,128 to 3,672.
The first swine flu case in Iran was registered July 14, the Irna news agency reported.
