Berti Fogts took on additional working conditions when signing his new contract, Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) President Rovnag Abdullayev said today.
"No additional conditions were mentioned in the contract. Fogts took them upon himself," Abdullayev said.
He added that football requires more efforts for development.
"The main thing is we started to develop children's football," the AFFA head said. "We have organized a tournament among 17-year-old doubles, increased the number of players in the Premier League from 300 to 900, and held educational programs at schools. In addition, 15-year-old players will train in three German clubs next year."
The agreement will run until the end of Euro 2012 qualifying tournament.
Fogts led the Azerbaijani team in 2008.
