Azerbaijani Court sentenced a former soldier Rafig Hasanov, who was in the Armenian captivity to 13-year imprisonment, the Military Serious Crimes Court told Trend.
The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry's military unit's soldier Hasanov was captured October 8, 2008 under unknown circumstances by Armenian militaries at the contact line of troops.
Hasanov is charged under Article 274 (high treason) and Article 338.1 (Infringement of rules on implementing fighting watch) and sentenced to 13-year imprisonment.
Hasanov was returned to the Azerbaijani side Apr.7.
