Georgian scientists receive access to British Library

The State Minister for Diaspora Affairs Papuna Davitaia today will visit the National Arts Centre. As the State Minister’s Office said, Davitaia will familiarize scholars with the memorandum, concluded with the British Library.

The State Minister for Diaspora Affairs Papuna Davitaia today will visit the National Arts Centre. As the State Minister's Office said, Davitaia will familiarize scholars with the memorandum, concluded with the British Library.

The signed document opens new opportunities before the Georgian researchers. In particular, as a result of the agreement it will be possible to document and study the Georgian culture and heritage, using the materials stored in the funds of the British Library and research institutions of Georgia, which involves distribution of catalog information and original scientific researches.

The State Minister for Diaspora Affairs Papuna Davitaia in this center will also got familiarized with the ancient Georgian manuscripts, historical documents and personal archives of public figures.
