In line with a joint initiative of the Embassy of Azerbaijan to Hungary and the Nakhchivan State University (NSU), "Selected Works" by Jalil Mamedkulizadeh, an outstanding representative of Azerbaijani literature of the 20 century, are issued in Hungarian.
NSU Rector, Academician Isa Habibbayli, who is a famous researcher of Jalil Mamedkulizadeh's heritage, is the editor and the author of the preface of a book containing twelve satirical novels by the great satiric, Azerbaijani Embassy to Hungary reported on Friday.
Teacher of Budapest's ELTE University Maria Keneshi, a scientist involved in studies of Azerbaijan, translated the novels from the original language into Hungarian. The book also contains illustrations by Azerbaijani painters.
"Selected Works" published in an elegant cover by printing house Akaprint of the Academy of Sciences of Hungary is Jalil Mamedkulizadeh's first book issued in Europe.
