The first forum of Azerbaijani and French universities co-organized with the French Embassy in Azerbaijan will be held on June 14 in Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA), the ADA communications department reported on Wednesday.
The priority directions in the system of higher education of Azerbaijan and France, ways of enhancing cooperation between the universities of two countries will be discussed at the forum.
In addition, the presentations of leading French universities will be shown at the conference.
Information about possibilities for Azerbaijani students to study in France on various scholarships established by the governments of Azerbaijan and France, and their provision will also be presented during the forum.
At the same time the Azerbaijani graduates who completed their studies in France will share their experiences.
The forum will be opened by Deputy Foreign Minister, Rector of ADA, Ambassador Hafiz Pashayev, Head of Administration of the Ministry of Education Jeyhun Bayramov and French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Pascal Monnier.
It should be noted that one part of the event, which begins at 15:00, will be open to the public.
Students of different Azerbaijani universities, by presenting their student ID cards can take part in discussions in order to get acquainted with the possibilities of studying in France.
