The latest on the road accident in Turkey’s Igdir province
15:20 (GMT+4) Five Azerbaijanis and three Turkey citizens have been killed as a result of the road accident in Turkey’s Igdir province, the province’s health authority told Trend Feb. 20.
The health condition of one of the 28 injured people is critical, according to the provincial health authority.
14:28 (GMT+4) Eight people have been killed and other 28 passengers have been injured as a result of the road accident, the Igdir province’s governorship told Trend Feb. 20.
Twenty-six people among those injured are Azerbaijani nationals.
Currently, Governor of the Igdir province Ahmet Turgay Alpman is in the hospital, where the injured people have been placed.
14:12 (GMT+4) Azerbaijan’s Consulate General in the Turkish province of Kars said that as a result of the accident eight people have been killed and the work is underway to determine whether there are Azerbaijani citizens, said Hajiyev.
The Consulate General of Azerbaijan, being in contact with local authorities, is providing aid to injured people. Consul General and the diplomatic mission staff are now in the hospital, where the injured people have been placed.
Nureddin Araz, a member of Turkey’s Grand National Assembly, told Trend that there are four Azerbaijanis among eight people killed as a result of the accident.
