BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 11. An earthquake has occurred in the Caspian Sea, the Republican Seismic Survey Center of Azerbaijan (RSSC) told Trend.
The origin of the earthquake, with a magnitude of 3.4, was located at a depth of 47 kilometers.
Earlier, on December 7, another earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 was also recorded in the Caspian Sea, 60 kilometers east of Siyazan station.
The origin of the earthquake was located at a depth of 68 kilometers. Underground tremors were felt with intensity up to 3-5 MSK.
On December 8, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 occurred in the Caspian Sea. The earthquake occurred at 21:00 local time, 45 kilometers to the southeast from Astara station.
The origin of the earthquake was at a depth of 11 kilometers. Underground tremors were not felt.
