International Football Federation (FIFA) will reassess the rating of Azerbaijan collected team in the near days.
During the meeting in Berlin, FIFA officially announced about the new system of assessing the rating of national teams. The main changing is the time period, which is taken as base for the calculation of points. Now FIFA will take into consideration only last four years. Thus, the points collected within different years will be calculated as following: 100% points over the last fourth year, 50% - third, 30% - second and 20% first. The new rating will be published on July 12.
