Private medical clinics appeal to Azeri Health Ministry

Heads of some private medical institutions made a written appeal to the Health Ministry of Azerbaijan. In particular, the head of Funda, Aliyev noted in the letter that to remove the shortages revealed in the activities of the organization there was announced a two-month working regime. The overhaul and modern equipment of the clinic are underway, the Ministry told Trend.

After the completion of this work we are going to appeal to the Ministry to restore our activities, the head of Funda underlined.

Gadimzade, the Director of EuroMed, and Mammadbayov, the head physician, noted the recent media reports spread over the past time on disagreements between the Ministry and private medical clinics. That is not right, the letter emphasizes. The Health Ministry conducts spot-checks at the private medical institutions to reveal work methods, relevance of specialists and equipment to standards. Obviously, the heads of the centers committed themselves to remove the gaps revealed in their activities, the letter says.

So far, the Health Ministry jointly with the Ministry of Economic Development held spot-checks in some private medical institutes. Due to shortages revealed during the inspection the activities of medical institutions Diamed, Illac, Davud LTD and Vital Klinika were stopped. Moreover, the Euromed, BioSis and Medservis clinics received warning.
