(news.sawf.org) - Part time model Amanda Wyatt, 23, has claimed that she was having an affair with Keith Urban during the entire duration of his courtship with Nicole Kidman.
In a story carried by Daily Mail the Nashville resident says, "I feel sorry for Nicole. Keith cheated on her repeatedly with me, right up to just before they got married."
Amanda, says she has now chosen to make the affair public in order to counter allegations in her hometown Nashville that she is a "homewrecker".
"He's done it once and he will probably do it again, she says.
Providing details of the affair, Amanda claims she met Keith in 2004 when he picked her up one night from a bar called the Tin Roof in Nashville.
"That night we ended up back at his place. He told me he was lonely and acted like a guy who wanted to be loved."
She expected it to be a one night affair but it turned into something more. The two soon became inseparable and the relationship continued until one month before Keith's wedding to Nicole Kidman, on June 25, 2006.
Amanda, did not know Keith was courting Nicole until the summer of 2005 when she saw a photograph of the two together in a tabloid magazine.
"When I asked Keith about the magazine photo, he went silent and said nothing. He just said: 'I don't want to talk about it - not with you.'
Amanda claims she chose to continue her affair because, "He wasn't married, so I still held out hope that they were just having some kind of publicity relationship."
According to Amanda the fact that Keith was seeing her was common knowledge in Nashville. The two would go out to clubs together.
"He even took me to a fund-raiser for a children's hospital", she says. "He would always hold my hand and kiss me in front of my friends."
"I tried not to fall in love with him but we were together throughout the whole time he was dating Nicole and engaged to her, right through 2005 and to around May 2006.
Amanda says that she temporarily moved to Keith's rented home in the Brentwood suburb of Nashville and met his parent Bob and Marienne, when they visited him from Australia in 2004 during Thanksgiving.
The affair came to an abrupt end in May 2006, says Amanda.
"Then, around May, he suddenly turned cold and stopped calling and replying to my texts.
Amanda says the last time the two met was in October 2006. However, she did not give details of that meeting.
However, a magazine had reported the two were seen kissing and cuddling in a Nashville bar while Nicole was at the Rome film festival.
A witness told them, "They were all over each other kissing and touching. It was like: 'get a room!'
Urban's Los Angeles publicist had dismissed the report as a "fabrication". Shortly following the incident Keith checked himself into the Betty Ford Clinic in Palm Springs, California after relapsing into alcohol addiction.
Amanda claims that throughout their long affair Keith continued to drink and use drugs.
"He drank constantly; his favorite was Crown Royal Reserve whisky. And he did drugs: Ecstasy, cocaine, pot - you name it..."
