Nuishiracan Maharramli, the Chairman of the National TV and Radio has told Trend that he has met Abdulgamid Avshar, the representative of TRT (Turkey's national TV Channel) today.
According to him, during the meeting, the TRT Representative was provided with the information about the decision by the National Council. It was recommended to the Turkish party to put all the document of the TV Channel into order to be broadcast in Azerbaijan. The Turkish party has understandingly apprehended this decision. I think that all works will be done. A decision to be made by us during the tomorrow's sitting will satisfy everybody. On the whole, TRT will broadcast in Azerbaijan, and starting from the next year, the TV Channel will receive the corresponding license. Simply, their broadcasting will be regulated in accordance with the existing legislation, said Mr. Maharramli.
According to him, he also had a talks with a representative of other Turkish TV Channel STV in Baku, and provided him with the information about the decision made by the National TV and Radio Council/ These TV Channels should agree with our decision.
