Azerbaijan , Baku /corr Trend S.Babayeva/ The Azerbaijani Ecology Ministry reported that Azerbaijan and Georgia created a working group on the protection of bio-variety, some nature territories, trans-border water and the conduct of joint monitoring within border zones.
Working groups were established within the framework of a visit to Baku of Georgian Minister for Environment and Natural Wealth, David Tkeshelashvili.
During the meeting the Azerbaijani and Georgian Ministers voiced their intention to sign a memorandum on Mutual Understanding on joint use and protection of trans-border water resources.
On 21 February the two parties plan to sign a Protocol on Intention.
