Revenues of Azerbaijan State Maritime Agency decrease

The revenues of the State Maritime Agency under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan last year decreased by almost 20 percent, Trend reports on May 14 referring to the agency's report.

According to the report, in the reporting year the agency's revenues amounted to 1.87 million manat ($1.1 million, decrease of almost 375,000 manat, or $220,720, on annual basis), and expenses - 3.43 million manat ($2.02 million).

Meanwhile, expenses for payment of wages and social insurance exceeded 597,000 manat ($351,380), depreciation and other costs amounted to over 1.5 million manat ($880,000), payment for goods and financial assistance - over 1.2 million manat ($710,000), the report said.

Besides, last year, the agency's liabilities made up nearly 5,000 manat ($2,942), and the balance capital decreased by 19.3 percent, settling at over 6.5 million manat ($3.8 million).

As of January 1 of this year, the agency's assets also made up over 6.5 million manat, which is 19.3 percent less year-on-year.
