BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 11. The yield of assets of the investment portfolio of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) on shares in 2021 amounted to 22.77 percent (versus 8.75 percent in 2020) and on real estate - 12.48 percent, the SOFAZ report on the execution of its budget for 2021 said, Trend reports.
According to the fund's report, the sub-portfolio of debt obligations decreased by 2.37 percent.
Last year, the fund’s investment portfolio asset yield rose to $1.9 billion compared to $1.1 billion in 2020. Meanwhile, the rate of yield of assets amounted to 4.49 percent versus 2.82 percent in 2020.
In 2021, nearly half of the investment portfolio accounted for debt obligations, 25 percent - shares, up to 10 percent - real estate, and up to 15 percent - precious metals.
