BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 12. Azerbaijan imported 257 tons of dried plums worth $600,710 from January through September 2022, Trend reports via the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.
This figure is 14 percent higher in value terms and 1.5 percent lower in quantitative terms compared to the same period of the previous year.
During the accounting period, a total of 80.96 tons of dried plums worth $280,800 were imported from Moldova (down by 1.2 percent); from Iran - 117.5 tons worth $175,100 (down by 10 percent); from Uzbekistan - 52,81 tons worth more than $119,700 (up by 49.3 percent); from Argentina - 0.98 tons worth $5,760 (down by 58.5 percent); and from Türkiye - 2.63 tons worth $8,400 (down by 54.6 percent).
Azerbaijan resumed imports of dried plums from Chile and Serbia. A total of 1.04 tons of dried plums worth $3,990 were imported from Chile, while 0.06 tons worth $3,990 were imported from Serbia.
