Azerbaijan, Baku, 5 October / Trend corr. E.Ismayilov/Azerbaijani Airlines (AZAL) will use the French made ATR-42 and ATR-72 mark aircrafts for Baku-Nakhichivan-Baku flights since 7 October.
The flights will be implemented on Monday, Thursday and Sunday at 10:00a.m at local time, as well as on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 04:00p.m at local time. The one way ticket price is AZN 40
AZAL has purchased the fifth ATR mark craft in July. The third and fourth ATR mark aircrafts were purchased by the company in the mid of May and June. At present, the aircraft flights on the route Baku-Mineral Waters- Baku.
In 2007, AZAL purchased two aircrafts from this company. The purchased aircrafts will be used, particularly, for domestic and regional flights (Nakhichivan, Ganja, Lankaran and Zakatala), AZAL said.
AZAL has placed order to the French airline enterprise and to purchase two aircrafts ATR - 42-500S and four ATR - 72-500S. Total sum of the contract is $97.2mln.
