USAID trains professional specialists to estimate state programs in Azerbaijan

The availability of professional staff for development and evaluation of public investment projects will have a positive impact on macroeconomic indicators in Azerbaijan Director U.S. International Development (USAID) Scott Taylor during awarding students who have completed a course on risk management with certificates. The courses were implemented jointly with the International Center for University DYUK and USAID

"Azerbaijan is exporting to the world market oil and gas, and the availability of professional appraisers is important for effective work," said Taylor.

According to him, these specialists may also participate in the development and evaluation of public investment programs and to conduct a detailed analysis of costs.

Course covered finance, economy, and a detailed analysis of income and expenses, including risk analysis and management. 39 students joined the courses.
