Turkish capital is invested in all spheres of Azerbaijani economy. We would like amount of Azerbaijani investments in Turkey to increase, Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijani Hulusi Kilic said during international conference Development of corporative bonds market in Azerbaijan organized by YAPI KREDİ bank and state committee for securities on July 3.
"Turkey invested $3 billion in Azerbaijani economy within the last year," ambassador said.
Turkish companies also take the first place among investors in Azerbaijani energy sector. Roughly 50,000 Azerbaijani entrepreneurs work in Turkey, he said.
Turnover between Turkey and Azerbaijan hit $2.6 billion in 2008.
