The Azerbaijani Finance Ministry announced a tender for executing the World Bank's project on accountings in budget and corporate sector.
The ministry seeks for technical assistance consultant to improve national accounting standards, the Ministry said.
Japan, Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and Azerbaijan will finance the project
The consultant's main responsibilities include:
- to make recommendations and comments to the instructions on the implementation of national accounting standards for budget organizations,
- to prepare the training materials for the project,
- to improve current accounting standards for budget organizations and the preparation of additional
A consulting company should have extensive experience in accounting and auditing, work experience in international accounting standards for the social sector, the ability to work under pressure, knowledge and the ability to work in the Azerbaijani language
The execution term of the project is from May 2010 to May 2011
The deadline for tender application is Feb.5, 2010
