The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry removed about 760kg of the expired products from retail sale points during the monitoring, the ministry reported today.

The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry removed about 760kg of the expired products from retail sale points during the monitoring, the ministry reported today.

Monitoring carried out in the Binagadi, Narimanov, Nasimi, Yasamal districts of Baku, as well as in the cities of Sumgayit, Guba and Samukh cities.

The expired food products include sausages, fish and canned food, confectionery products, pasta and flour products, butter, milk and dairy products, beer, tea, baby food, mustard, fruit juices.

Protocols on administrative violations have been complied on enterprises and individuals.
