Signing important documents that will boost trade and economic relations between the two countries is expected within the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's visit to Azerbaijan in autumn 2010, Russian Federation's trade representative to Azerbaijan, Yuri Shchedrin said at a press conference today.

"Such documents include an agreement on delimitation of borders, the reconstruction of the road bridge across the Samur River and use its water resources, as well as an agreement to resolve the property issues of diplomatic missions," he said.

He said the last document is delayed because of the draft agreement "On Promotion and Reciprocal Protection of Investments", which is still under development. The two governments haven't yet been able to find a compromise only in one issue of a temporary nature. Azerbaijan proposes that it should be applied to the whole history of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia, and the Russian side insists on the coverage of period, beginning from 1992.

Also within the Russian President's visit it is expected to sign two or three cooperation agreements with a number of Russian regions, especially with Karachay-Cherkessia Republic.
