Chief Executive Officer of the American Millennium Challenge Corporation Daniel Yohannes, who is in Georgia, with the U.S. Ambassador John Bass visited Samtskhe-Javakheti and got acquainted with the process of road construction, funded by the Corporation.
This project aims at restoring the road transport network in the region. The project budget amounts to 203.5 million dollars.
Within the project financed by the Corporation road totaling 220 kilometers will be built.
The program "Millennium Challenge" envisages rehabilitation of infrastructure and development of enterprises in the region, its budget hits $ 395.3 million.
