The Iranian Central Bank announced that the inflation rate in the country increased by 2.6 percent to 12.4 percent last Iranian year (ended March 21, 2011) compared to the previous year, Fars News Agency reported.
Earlier Iranian Vice president of budget affairs in presidential strategic planning organization Rahim Mombini said that in case all prediction for next year budget plan works out according to orders, the inflation will increase 13 to 15 percent.
"The government predicts for annual budget and since this year we persist on implementing reformed subsides there for the predicted costs include all sources and not using national development fund," Mombini told reporters.
''In case all sources except national development fund will be used we will witness 13 to15 percent rise in next year inflation", Mombini added.
''One of the results of good use of resources will lead to decrease in unemployment rate,'' Mombini stressed.
''We predict that in worst cases the unemployment rate stays the same, however the government predicts 2 percent decline in unemployment,'' Mombini noted.
