During the Turkmenistan visit, a delegation of the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry and Azerbaijani Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) held meetings at the Turkmen Ministries of Economy and Development, Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, Trade and Industry, as well as at the Ashgabat khakimlik.
"The talks focused on the further expansion of the Turkmen-Azerbaijani partnership in trade and economic cooperation and investment," the Turkmen embassy in Baku reported.
The delegation was briefed about the key aspects of the transformations carried out in Turkmenistan under President Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov's leadership, as well as with the main areas of the investment policy.
Noting the presence of a solid potential for further mutually beneficial relations, the Azerbaijani delegation expressed interest in strengthening the long-term business contacts with Turkmen partners.
They voiced desire to participate in joint projects in various fields of the Turkmen-Azerbaijani intergovernmental cooperation.
