International Finance Corporation (IFC) aims to expand its programs to improve the investment sphere in the country, the IFC representative in Azerbaijan Aliya Azimova told press on Thursday.
"We examine the opportunities to expand our programs in the field of investment sphere. We also examine the opportunities to prepare a strategy designed to attract foreign direct investments, which can be aimed at the work in particular sector, for example, in agriculture", she said.
A strategy of attracting foreign direct investments is under development, she added.
"It aims to improve the investment sphere for a particular sector. Agriculture is only one of the sectors that we can potentially consider", Azimova added.
