China-Kyrgyzstan railway will not be built at the expense of the mineral resources of the latter, Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev said in Jalal-Abad State University at a meeting with students, AKIpress reported.
"Rumors have recently spread that the government of Kyrgyzstan will give mining wealth for the construction of the railway. The railway will be built at the expense of credits or other means," the head of state noted and called on not to believe the rumours.
He said a motor road will also be built together with the railway
"China-Kyrgyzstan railway will yield large income to country", the president said.
