VISA has announced about the opening of its office in Kazakhstan at the press-conference in Almaty on Thursday, Kazinform reported.
"The opening of an office in Kazakhstan is an important strategic step for our company. I am pleased to congratulate Kazakh banks, all our partners and, of course, our Kazakh office staff with this event," VISA General Director on Russia, CIS and South-Eastern Europe Steven Parker said.
Moreover, the company reported about the intermediate results of its operations in Kazakhstan.
"The local market is in VISA's priority, and we have seen a steady growth in all key indicators for the last 15 years," Parker said.
Galym Tabyldiev was appointed as the head of VISA's Almaty office. He will deal with the implementation of VISA's business development strategies in Kazakhstan.
