Skytrax: Uzbekistan's National Airline ready to join SkyTeam

A professional audit of the aviation industry of Uzbekistan conducted by an independent rating agency Skytrax showed the readiness of Uzbekistan's National Airline Uzbekistan Havo Yullary (Uzbeksitan Airlines) to join SkyTeam airline alliance, a report of the Uzbek airline said.

According to the report, the aviation services provided by the national airline of Uzbekistan were evaluated by more than 700 points of service in country's airports and on board of aircrafts.

Some aspects of the convenience, in particular the configuration of seats on A320 passenger aircrafts were evaluated with five stars.

The entertainment during the flight provided on board of National Airline's planes, as well as the video quality, provision of passengers with IPads were also highly evaluated - with four or five stars.

Uzbekistan Airlines also got highest points in the sphere of providing flight security.

In general, the testing of quality of services offered in the services market of the airline was acknowledged to comply with the standards of three stars, and at the same time - with a clear aspiration to improve in many parameters.

"This significant event for the national airline has allowed an objective assessment of the level of our own service and adjust priority directions in future change in the quality of the provided product," the statement said.

Skytrax is an authoritative British agency specializing in the study of the quality of services provided by airlines and airports.
