Azerbaijan and Italy have agreed to jointly develop olive production, according to the text of the protocol signed following the third session of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between the two countries.
A meeting of the intergovernmental commission was held in Baku on Monday.
The parties also have agreed to implement the programs to improve the genetics of ruminants and to diversify agricultural activity.
The parties are working on draft intergovernmental agreements on cooperation in the fields of veterinary science and plant protection.
