Azersun Holding Group of Companies intends to hold an initial public offering (IPO) of the Imishli Sugar Plant, said Abdolbari Goozal, chairman of the holding’s supervisory board.
Goozal made the remarks at a meeting of the agriculture development commission of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs’ Confederation Oct. 7.
He said that at the initial stage the matter rests in the placement of the plant’s shares.
“We intend to put up 30-40 percent shares of the plant for sale on the London Stock Exchange,” he said.
Goozal did not specify the date of the IPO.
