The State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Dubai Islamic Economy Development Center signed a memorandum of understanding in Abu Dhabi, the Turkmenistan State News Agency reported.
In addition, a protocol was signed to amend the agreement on the elimination of double taxation with respect to income tax and capital gains tax, signed between the governments of the two countries on June 9, 1998.
The documents were signed after the talks in the UAE capital between Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan.
