Uzbek "Asaka", Turkish Eximbank ink loan agreement

Uzbek Asaka bank and Turkish Eximbank (Export-Import Bank of Turkey) signed a $24 million loan agreement on April 30, the press office of the Uzbek bank stated.

According to the information, the document was signed in Tashkent during the Uzbek-Turkish business forum held within the framework of the state visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Uzbekistan.

In line with the signed agreement, the loan will be used to fund projects of small and medium-sized enterprises with maturity period of 10 years. The agreement also provides for supply of technology equipment and services from Turkey.

The press office of the Uzbek bank also stated that the agreement doesn’t provide for state guarantees.
