Gas condensate produced as part of the phase 22, 23 and 24 of the South Pars Gas Complex in Iran’s Bushehr city has been exported, said Ali Asghar Sadeghi, deputy operator of the phase 22, 23 and 24 of the South Pars Gas Complex, Trend reports via the website of the Pars Oil and Gas Company.
He said that 270,000 barrels of gas condensate were loaded on March 17 and transferred to the National Iranian Oil Company’s International Affairs Office for export.
Payam Motamed, operator of the South Pars phase 13 project, said that 300,000 barrels of gas condensate produced as part of this phase were sent for export March 18.
The phases 13, 22, 23 and 24 of the South Pars Gas Complex were put into operation March 17 with the participation of the Iranian president, oil minister, interior minister and a group of officials.
Each of the South Pars Gas Complex’s two plants (Phase 13, 22, 23 and 24) is designed for daily production of 56 million cubic meters of gas, 2,900 tons of liquefied gas (LPG), 2,750 tons of ethane, 75,000 barrels of gas condensate and 400 tons of sulfur.
